KIM HANDS - STRATEGIC CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Kim joined the Stop the Toad Foundation as Strategic Campaign Manager
in May 2008.
Kim studied a Bachelor of Science at Murdoch University in conservation
and marine biology. She has a strong environmental science and interpretation
background developed while working at AQWA (the Western Australian
aquarium) and with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy at the Mornington
Wildlife Sanctuary.
Kim has successfully motivated others to conserve the natural environment
through innovative public presentations, leading volunteer groups
and through involvement in various environmental campaigns. Her
enthusiasm and passion for the environment is contagious.
Kim has worked and lived in the Kimberley and although she has
traveled extensively, the Kimberley is where her heart lies. She
is dedicated to protecting the biodiversity of Australia’s
last remaining wilderness by keeping WA cane toad free!
The Great Toad Muster 2008 will be Kim’s first muster and
she looks forward to contributing to on-ground cane toad control.
