from across Northern Australia. This includes the Northern
Territory, the Kimberly region and North QLD (currently excluding
the Wet Tropic rainforests). Contains information about the

The
Australian Genome Alliance is lobbying the Federal Government
to establish a new genomics research fund to ensure that Australia's
unique genetic heritage is harvested by Australia and not
by other nations.
In particular: Cane
Toad Genome Project - The Australian Amphibian Genome
Project will provide a complete list of all of the genes present
in the cane toad, as well as in a native Australian frog species.
